It does make sense. A socially awkward boy in school who is constantly picked on and bullied by his peers may be convinced that "changing his gender" will make things better for him. At least boys can't hit girls, at least when I last went to school.

This never could have happened when I went to school in the 1970s. Because a boy wearing a dress to school back then would have gotten harrassed and beaten up constantly, not to mention getting totally shunned by the girls, who would have nothing to do with him. Nowadays, that same behavior is celebrated and even encouraged.

That explains more than anything the sudden rise in children claiming to be "transgender." It is socially acceptable and rewarded. Many children will do just about anything to gain acceptance from their peers.

That is what makes adult grooming of these vulnerable children all the more despicable.
