You better watch out, you better not cry—SantaCon is on its way to cities around the nation this month. And if you're confused about what that even means, you're not alone. So, what is SantaCon? And is it coming to your town?
Hearing the name "SantaCon," for those who are already familiar, will likely either evoke a laugh and pleasant response, or one of deep annoyance. Immediately, they are able to remember the images of years past with hundreds upon hundreds of people dressed up as Santa Claus roaming their city's streets.
But where did this polarizing, festive event come from? Let's get into it—after all, here comes Santacon, here comes Santacon!

Great. Drunk Santas prowling the streets until the wee hours.
Every. single. thing... exploited, monetized, and commercialized.
I’m sure in those towns it will fill the airwaves and local news with promotional ads for all the kids to see hundreds of Santas running around.
