Disclaimer: NOT defending Ye, at all. My thrust is at the notion of Musk bringing back free speech to Twitter.
So basically, Ye was suspended for anti-Semitism and/or hate speech?
‘Hate speech may be offensive and hurtful; however, it is generally protected by the First Amendment.’

So what happened to ‘free speech’, Mr. Musk?
Yeah, it’s not even funny anymore. That’s someone hurting real bad...
Not a single thing has changed about this retard has changed since he was 14.
He started his journey in “self destruction”. I smacked my forehead when everyone fell for his religious grift and his “I’m a republican” fraud.
He’s not “turning into” a fruitcake, he’s always been one. We need to shed this guy from all of our lives.
I find it insulting that many people here would entertain this buffoon but then spit on Alex Jones.
Musk is being compassionate. This is clearly someone in crisis, and he probably is wanting to pull a circuit breaker.
He has done more in 3 weeks for free speech than anyone else I can think of.
But he isn’t required to facilitate someone falling apart.
Pretty much.
He is currently not correct in the head. The past week has been a disaster.
Oh, no doubt Ye needs an intervention on a number of levels.
Again, as I disclaimered, I am not defending Ye here, was going at the heart of Musk and his alleged bringing free speech back to Twitter.
I’ve heard that he is bipolar and has stopped his medications. Sadly this is a common occurrence. People feel better on the medications and thus feel that they don’t need them. Very sad.
An inmage of a swastika and star of david together isn’t canvassing for a hit man or child abuse/prostitution.
Understood, but this is not what Ye did, correct?
Ask Jim Robinson if that is something he would allow here. I think I can guess the answer. Free speech has never been an absolute right... on Twitter, it isn’t really a right at all. Musk could demand that everybody discuss astronomy and nothing else.. he’d lose money but he isn’t really required to allow any ‘speech’ at all... free or otherwise...
As to Twitter, it’s far better now under Musk than it was before.... starting with the fact you don’t have left wing propaganda screeching at you from the sidebar anymore... I’d endorse Musk just for that alone.
Agreed. It seems even our most vocal free-speech advocates would get all nervous if Thomas Jefferson walked in the room and announced free speech actually means FREE SPEECH.
Kanye West is bi-polar (he’s said so), and he frequently stops his medication according to his friends and family. He obviously needs help - the guy is a brilliant musician and producer, and it’s sad watching him destroy himself like this.
Kanye needs an intervention. His wife is apparently of no help. Ye is headed on a path of self-destruction.

That’s what I don’t understand. Where is his family? Are they simply going to stand by and watch him crash and burn?
HEAR YE!!! HEAR YE!!!.... oh wait.... nm
This is not free speech.
It is they have moved the goalposts version of freedom of speech.
Civilization at large is better off with these imbeciles out in the open. Not only to expose themselves as idiots but to promote discourse over their idiocy.
Look at the bright side, he’s got Milo and Fuentes to smoke his weiner
