The premise the IRS is hiring 87,000 ARMED agents is BS. Most of the new hires will be Office Tax Auditors, Revenue Agents and Revenue Officers. They may hire a few thousand ARMED Special Agents, but that’s it.
The democrats want to use the IRS to wring every last dollar out of American taxpayers, and that will be done by auditing middle income taxpayers. That’s what Tax Auditors and Revenue Agents do. Revenue Officers collect the taxes owed.
Special Agents are the Criminal Investigators and they only go after Criminal Tax Evasion.
I’m no fan of the IRS, but such unfounded accusations makes our side look stupid and uninformed.
I think the idea is to perform annual audits on everybody down to a certain income level - one much lower than today. People like Trump and Musk get audited every single year - they want to do that to small business owners. Many of us already retain good CPA's so it will be a waste of the IRS's time if they audit us - but there are a lot of sole proprietors and single-employee eBay and Amazon businesses who still do it themselves with TurboTax and may be very vulnerable.

I don't want any of them armed. NOT A SINGLE FCKN ONE! They do not need to be armed. Our Founding Fathers would have burned down their houses and buildings long ago! Piss on them!
