It would be non futile if the improprieties, crimes and falsifications had happened in their county and they were refusing to certify their county’s results even if the Recorder had claimed they were tabulated correctly.
This is almost equivalent to failing to turn in the votes for their county because cheating was done in Pennsylvania.
We were to push during the legislative work at reform — we didn’t do it.
We were to push during the audit in Maricopa, we did push then and gestures and road blocks then were useful and appropriate.
In the non certification goes forward here it has NO impact on the Arizona state wide election of Hobbs. It has NO impact on Maricopa County’s board of supervisors. It is pissing in the wind and that is why I used the term “futile gesture” (perhaps in quotes is the best) to clearly indicate that in my humble opinion it is distracting from work that would result in something.
Now I just moved from AZ after nine years so, as they say, my Dog ain”t in that fight, but I do hope for the best for all of you that are there and I just want the efforts to be productive.
