I have always felt that way, but...I think the likes of VDH and Thomas Sowell don’t want to put their heads in the toilet we call politics!
Sigh. Maybe that is what we need to change. We get the likes of Maxine Waters and Adam Schiff to run our country.
It is a far cry from some of those who did it in the past, that is for sure.

I agree about not wanting to stick their heads in the toilet of politics. I was thinking of advising quietly from afar, and infrequently, sort of like former presidents are sometimes asked to do. But they might not want to get even that close to the potty.
