Gov. Kemp should call in his Lt. Gov. for a short meeting, where the Lt. Gov. is given two options: resign, or face so many legal attacks that he will wish he had resigned.
If he were a Democrat who openly refused to vote for Warnock, he would experience a “sudden” demise by the end of the year, but we don’t kill our traitors (yet).
This guy just ran for re-election and won easily on Kemp’s coattails. This will blow back on him as an example of a high profile Republican unable to cast a ballot for a black man.
Duncan is out in at the end of this month, and he and the Governor do not run for office together so the Gov has little power over him.
