Well apparently there were tornadoes last night to balance it out. STOOPID climageddonists.

There is only ONE solution to the problem of an average number of storms of average duration and average destruction and average time on land and average wind speed and average ocean surge: Tax ourselves trillions and trillions of dollars.

Due to Climate Change (c) this year was unusually average. It’s going to get averager and averager until it’s completely average and we’re all gonna die. Well, an average number of us, anyway.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
NOAA’s predictions were so wide there was almost no way they would have been wrong.

Since Katrina, they've been predicting 'above normal' every year... So that's 17 years of 'above normal' predictions and not one year has been 'above normal' since Katrina.
Like most climate science, they predict... And when they're wrong they never talk about it again... Case in point... Mount Kilimanjaro.
Notice the snow... That Al Gore said would be gone by 2016?

That's not totally true. 2020 was absolutely hyper-active with 31 named storms. 2012 and 2017 were also somewhat above the long term average too.

Al Gore is deeply disappointed.

Atlantic hurricane season ends with average number of storms Ah but the strawberries hurricanes! They laughed at me and made jokes about global warming, but this proves beyond the shadow of a doubt, and with geometric logic, that climate change is real!

Over 50yrs ago our Jr hs science teacher told us young skulls full of mush that Long Island, NY is supposedly sinking at a rate of 1 inch/year. Fredo's mansion on Fire Island is steps away from the beach yet he doesn't seem to be in any hurry to head for the hills π€¨π€π€

The number of “named storms” is basically a meaningless statistic. NHC is populated by climate change-ists who name every cluster of thunderstorms where they catch a 39 mph wind gust. In decades past, storms were only named when they had a clear circulation and defined tropical cyclone form.
This is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Kind of like votes for democrats, they will create/imagine what they need to make the dire predictions look like they came true.
