The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) recently published a set of regulations set to be implemented on December 15 that will crack down on internet users for “liking” posts deemed “harmful” or “illegal.”
The guidelines, published on the CAC’s website, also demand all social media platforms – already heavily censored and regulated – develop a social credit system to rate users based on their opinions, likes, and other interactions with sites. The CAC is the online censorship arm of Chinese dictator Xi Jinping’s communist regime.

Not as much as China. They had already had this level of control well before the computer revolution. It was easy enough for them to implement it with the help of our tech companies, Cisco, Microsoft etc…

This is typical of China. Write the rules so hazy and vague that they can mean whatever they want it to mean. Then they can change the rules if someone finds a way around them.
This is what is happening in Hong Kong with the China-imposed “national security law”. The rules keep changing and China has the right to “interpret” the rules according to what is best for China.
There’s no truth in Pravda or any Chinese State outlet.
