The guy who got punched is an Antifa with a history of violence. He was making a slashing motion and appeared to have something in his hand.

They call them anti fascists in the article, and the slant of the article is that Andy Ngo is the fascist. Antifa is a violent fascist organization from the top guy, to the last recruit.
