Ron is the only politician that I have ever talked to that didn’t sound like a politician. Chatted with him for a few while waiting for Trump to come to do a rally on the eve of his election to governor. You would never know the guy was about to be elected Governor of the 3rd largest state, he could just be your next door neighbor as far as anyone would know.
He was raised as a completely middle class guy, is very smart, and worked his butt off to become as successful as he is.
Have you had the opportunity to chat with many politicians? I am assuming that your assessment is based upon comparisons with other, not-so-sincere or down-to-earth politicians with whom you have had face-to-face encounters / exchanged at least small talk.

There are nuns and priests in his family.
Of course, the atheistic communists and the deep state secularists will make this an even bigger issue than they did when JFK ran for President.
