A complaint filed Sunday with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations and the state attorney general is calling for an investigation into whether Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker committed a felony by voting in Georgia elections while claiming a homestead exemption for a home he owns in Texas.

From Yahoo News:

The complaint, written by Georgia resident Ann Gregory Roberts, states that "it appears that Walker was not a resident of Georgia for voting purposes when he registered to vote and voted. Any person who votes, or registers to vote, knowing that he or she is not eligible to do so is guilty of a felony."

There are college students who vote in Wisconsin elections while claiming homestead elsewhere. Does the President have to vote as a resident of DC?! This is much over nothing.

Dems taught us and taught us well, if there is one thing that does NOT exist in this country it is vote fraud. “Debunked” “Trump’s mythical charge which has been disproved in every state” “Did not happen regardless of right wing internet lies.”

What has Herschel or his campaign had to say about it?

It seems an oversight but Walker may have screwed himself accidentally. Too bad a good lawyer didn’t vet this issue when Walker first began running.

Agreed. I haven’t seen anything from the Walker campaign or Herschel himself addressing it. Seems like something they’d want to get ahead of.

Most likely he had dual residency. As long as he only voted in Georgia and didn’t vote in Texas, he’s ok. If he voted in both states, he could be in trouble. But this won’t affect him becoming a senator. Right now it’s just a smear.

As long as you only vote in one state and claim the homestead TAX CREDIT in only one state, it’s irrelevant if they are different states. The homestead tax credit is a tax credit, not a declaration of where you vote.

So much noise from the fake news crowd presented to hide more voter fraud in GA so Dems can keep the U.S. Senate.

How do you file a criminal complaint with a Georgia state agency and with the Georgia state Attorney General on a Sunday?

State employees work on Sunday?

Right.

As I wrote: "One part of The Narrative for the December Steal in Georgia".

I myself found it FASCINATING that 50,000 Libertarians in Georgia's 2022 "election" split-ticket "voted" - 28,000 for the former Marine Libertarian who was running for governor, and 81,000 for the Libertarian LGBTQ Whoopsie candidate for US Senate.

Things that make you go "Hmmmmmmmmm...".

The Texas State Comptroller explains the requirements for homestead exemption in Texas. Quoting from the website: “Do all homes qualify for residence homestead exemptions? No, only a homeowner’s principal residence qualifies. To qualify, a home must meet the definition of a residence homestead: The home’s owner must be an individual (for example: not a corporation or other business entity) and use the home as his or her principal residence on Jan. 1 of the tax year. An age 65 or older or disabled exemption is effective as of Jan. 1 of the tax year the applicant qualifies for the homestead and applies to the entire tax year.”

If it is true Walker received the Texas homestead exemption this year, he claimed his Texas home was his full time residence. Yet he is running for the Senate in Georgia. Either he is a resident of Texas, and is lying to the people of Georgia about his state of residence, or he has his primary residence in Georgia and is committing tax fraud in Texas. Either way he has committed fraud and the voters will have to decide if this behavior is acceptable.

Walker is over 65 so if he started the year living in Texas but “moved” to Georgia before he voted, it seems like neither conflicts with the other. I could be mistaken in my interpretation.
