There is a lot of video that shows the capitol police inviting protestors into the capitol building.

You don’t know that.

What do you mean by “invite”? Did they say “Sure, it’s okay to come in here!”

Why did no one, not one person, have the common sense to video asking a Capital Police Officer “Hey, is it okay for us to enter the building?”

Just crazy. People had their phones and no one asked that question while filming - or at least asked the question and was told “Sure, it’s okay for you to enter the building!”

I never thought of that until I read your post. It would've been a good idea but I confess that, on the scene, I wouldn't have thought of it, either.

Maybe someone on the scene DID think of it and got told "No."
