If that’s the case, the U.S. was/is ill-prepared for war, if they needed to go to war. And then, the Europeans too? Apparently, nobody was expecting any kind of long-draw-out conflict or war.
Somebody has been very neglectful, and the enemies are taking note. China and Iran and N.Korea and Venezuela and Cuba and Afghanistan, could not hope for a better situation than then one the U.S. and its allies find themselves in.
Ukraine is just a regional conflict, and a world war would deplete all the weapons of the western countries in a matter of weeks.
Maybe Afghanistan will let us borrow some.
1.) Europe needs to form its own unified European military and deal with Russia, leaving us out of this.
2.) Or NATO can just surround Ukraine as Putin isn’t dumb enough to go outside Ukraine.
3.) Defend our borders, not Ukraine’s.
The largest foreign contributor, by far, has been Russia.
After the Russians run away and leave stuff behind.
You still hitting the sauce?
Don’t bother answering as I have no time for your subterfuge.
That’s an ok cope but you can do better.
For the most part (per extensive discussions on FR), HIMARS, M777, etc., would not be likely to be particularly useful in a dustup with China. And in Korea, S. Korea is pretty well to the point of being able to handle the North... except for Kimmy’s nukes....
I’d also note that so far we have sent well under 10% of our HIMARS, and those sent ARE reducing future need for HIMARS to take out Russian weapons.
yeah, escalate things /s
Research the actual numbers of HIMARS and M777’s sent and in inventory, plus expected production / deliveries for 2023. Plus, those systems were / are primarily intended for use in the European theater. Likely Asian conflicts would lean heavily to air and sea power. Even our current dolts are not dumb enough to get in a war on the Chinese mainland.
They do however seem to think that the US and European nations have a limited capacity to build arms. That's a strange theory given that the USA and Europe both have very large defense industries.
“Putin has also died of 7 different diseases.”
But I thought he had been taken out in one of the dozen coups the resident Zeepers have been babbling about.
What aircraft or tanks have we given the Ukraine?
He brushed off being shot, stabbed, poisoned, and drowned.
He’s tougher than even Rasputin...
Do you realize how dumb it is to list Venezuela, Cuba, and Afghanistan as "enemies" who somehow would be advantaged because the USA has shipped less than 10% of our HIMARS artillery to Ukraine?
What is Cuba going to do? Launch an amphibious invasion of Florida?
What is Afghanistan going to do? Send their navy out to attack our carriers and submarines?
Right now both China and Iran have full scale riots and protests against their governments. That's a bigger problem for them than the USA having a few less obsolete missiles and a few less HIMARS rockets.
đź‘Ť
It’s absolutely true.
Oh boy....
Okay, exactly where do you anticipate we'd be needing HIMARs against your China/Cuba/Venezuelan combined force? An invasion of Texas?
Do you think our Navy and Air Force would just let the Chinese land there?
