TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - The Cochise County Board of Supervisors voted 2-1 Monday to table the certification of the election results.

They have now missed the deadline to do so and will likely face a lawsuit from the state.

The board will meet again on Friday and has demanded the state prove that vote tabulation machines were certified for accuracy.

The board is the same group that tried to order a full hand count of the ballots, but their efforts were blocked by courts several times.

Also on Monday, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors hosted a special meeting to certify the election. As of 11 a.m., the meeting was still going on with public comment.

The Mohave County Board of Supervisors also met early Monday but ended their meeting after Cochise County decided to delay certifications. That board will meet again at 2 p.m. Monday.

Navajo County voted unanimously to certify after the county attorney warned supervisors they could be sued if they didn’t.

In Yavapai County, residents cited problems in Maricopa County in urging the Board of Supervisors not to approve the election results. The meeting was ongoing Monday.

Pima and Santa Cruz counties have already certified their results.

They don’t care. They know that Trump will be the nominee and do not want him to win in 2024. They will do nothing to help Kari Lake.

Gates spewing bunch of BS. Voting should be on one day, on paper ballots, voter ID. How many ballots were issued, how many voted, and how many on voter rolls? These commissioners are all talking about red herrings, not addressing fraudulent mail-in voting.

Maybe proof of fraud would help? NOT proof of INCOMPETENCE, but fraud? Also, once certified, the results CAN be challenged in court. Until then, there is nothing to challenge.

Arizona law doesn’t allow for a hand count during the official count. They can be done later.

“Voting should be on one day, on paper ballots, voter ID.”

Like it or not, Arizona voters disagree. Tightening the ID requirements - which we already have - failed on the ballot this month. And Arizonans LOVE mail in voting. Must because over 80% consistently do it. You can’t pass laws that 80% of the people don’t like....

And the problems in Maricopa County all involved PAPER BALLOTS ON ELECTION DAY. So just how would your suggestion make it better?

Tell that to victims of illegal alien invaders.

It constantly irks me how lazy reporting of legal issues is. No one certified because of the threat of “being sued.” No one’s liable for damages. It would be a petition for writ of mandate to force certification

There is only a SINGLE reason there would be an objection to a hand count to confirm the totals.

The Fake Government in Arizona will now use taxpayer dollars to enforce their Fake Government.

One of the ballot initiatives that passed in Arizona this month? In state tuition for illegals. Close vote. 51-49. But it passed.

We get what we vote for. And pure democracy was a concept the Founding Fathers didn’t believe in. For a reason.

I wouldn't believe any ballot results in Arizona, much less most other states. These are the same people who insist that Jao Bai-din got 81 million votes, even more than Obama.

I came here to say just that.

At this point, what does certification even mean?

I thought certification means everything is good to go. Can you imagine if this was how airplane engines got certified to fly?

Concur.

If it was possible to buy elections and if I was China... I would pay for propositions which legalize drugs wherever I could.

If it’s possible to buy elections no result of any contest or proposition can be believed.

Uh putting ballots in Door #3 and mixing them with already counted ballots is 100% Fraud.

“Uh putting ballots in Door #3 and mixing them with already counted ballots is 100% Fraud.”

Doing that with 20,000 ballots is fraud. A few hundred in a county with 1.5 million votes cast is an error. The extras who work these stations are not professionals. They almost certainly had almost no training in what to do if the ballots couldn’t be tabulated correctly.

If Lake can show it happened to a hundred thousand ballots, or if she could show DELIBERATE mixing, then she’ll have a case for fraud. Once the election is certified, she can go to court to demonstrate fraud - if able.

Prove it was only a couple hundred!

Oh and also they didn’t give proper guidance to voters who they told to leave the voting place to go elsewhere. 100% fraud. I can’t believe someone on FR will defend this garbage.

Also there were 7,000 more votes for Governor than Senator. That’s an unusually high difference in two high profile races.
