What's your alternative?

I'm voting for Trump. It's a sentimental thing. Besides, the "lets you and him fight" proposition being encouraged by the Democrats, will leave a DeSantis nomination with a splintered support base from which he cannot win.

Not that it greatly matters. I expect that if there is an election in 2024, it will be merely for show. The results of any "elections" will be Democrats, all the way down.

Followed by higher taxes, higher inflation, more regulations for which compliance is impossible, persecution and arrest of political opponents, economic collapse, multiple revolts, suppression of multiple revolts, civil war, depopulation, and the effective breakup of the country into hostile fiefdoms.

The Republics simply haven't done enough to stop Democrat vote fraud. They should be making a full-court press to set aside the fraudulent Arizona election and have a special election rerun under very tight supervision. They aren't doing that. The obvious fraud of the Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin "elections" should be getting attention, as well as numerous county "elections" in Georgia.

The Republicans aren't doing any of that. The same GOP-e leadership grifters are still in place, pretending they will not take their orders from the Democrats.

The high-strength pathways to the future appear to be mostly set and are very hard to change by now. So, I have relatively little concern for whoever gets nominated in any political party.

You see fraud. I see a lot of people who won’t support Trump - or Trump-dependent candidates - for anything.

We came close to winning a lot of tight elections in places we had no normal expectation of victory. But candidates tied at the hip with Trump underperformed by 5-10 points Republicans seen as independent of Trump.

I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 and will vote for him in 2024 if he wins the nomination. But I know evangelicals who will NOT vote for Trump in 2024. Period. If he’s bleeding support among evangelicals, then he’s in deep doo-doo for winning independents.
