Hence the slaughter of herds of cattle, destruction of birds, and stopping the use of fertilizer. It is meant to drive down the population, nicely said. The truth is, it is meant to SLAUGHTER the serfs, ie US.

San Antonio celebrated its 300th anniversary in 2018. It is the home of 5 Spanish missions along the San Antonio River, all about the same age or more. The missions were settled by indigenous people of the time. They were fortified, not to keep the people in, rather, to keep marauding tribes out. The residents CHOSE to live there for their own safety. This was a century and a half before Geronimo.

I love this post.

It is a rare human indeed that doesn’t have a little of the blood of Indians within them. My grandfather on my paternal side, forced his daughter to cut her hair off and wear hats, to go to school. For some reason, this German man, who hailed from Russia, now called the Ukraine, had a daughter with long silky black black hair and high cheekbones. LIKE HER MOTHER.

As I have related in this thread, my Maternal grandfather was a Scout/teamster during the Modoc wars, and knew the parties involved. My grandmother kept a diary, and I have read it. It was her husbands Father and like many of the time, they wrote down their thoughts growing up. A family with British and Scottish surnames, that were at one point 50% redmen related. Almost like they buried their heritage in anglo names like so many.

I don’t even know what my Indian relatives names were, or the exact tribal ID. I just know it is real.

There is a CCP General who gave a speech about how they would free the Continent of N America from the Anglos who stole it from their people. It is part of the long term goals of the Chinese, along with taking Australia, Africa and all of Asia. Sounds like the entire world? Huh, who could have guessed that?

I believe the Comanche pushed the Apache further west.
They almost wiped the Apache tribes out.

Indians are lucky that when the world discovered this new world, it was the whites who were first, rather than China and the orientals.

Anglo is a term that whites don’t like, which hardens the left’s use of it.

From Wiki
“Of the 500 or so survivors, at a trial at Ohkay Owingeh, Oñate sentenced most to twenty years of forced “personal servitude” and additionally mandated that all men over the age of twenty-five have a foot cut off.[3] Recent research has indicated that there is no evidence of this happening and that, at most, the prisoners lost some toes. This latter theory makes sense, for losing toes rather than a whole foot left the prisoners useful as servants.[4] In Onate’s personal journal, he specifically refers to the punishment of the Acoma warriors as cutting off “las puntas del pie” (the points of the foot, the toes).[5] He was eventually banished from New Mexico and exiled from Mexico for five years, convicted by the Spanish government of using “excessive force” against the Acoma people.”

There is some law in WA where the tribal lands are held in common. You could buy a house there, but you only own the house. Even Indians of the tribe don’t own their own land. Hence the tradition of leaving the junk cars/boats/garbage in the tall grass. For that matter, not mowing the grass is quite common.

From what I understand, the Indians on that trail of tears refused to ride, but walked instead of accepting transportation from the white eyes.

The Indians hunted horses to extinction, when the Natives saw th Spanish RIDING their horses they were shocked. They were a food source, not a means of transportation.

Lone Watie:
I'm gettin' better at sneaking up on you like this. Only an Indian can do something like this.

Josey Wales:
That's what I figured.

Lone Watie:
You figured?

Josey Wales:
Only an Indian could do something like that.

Lone Watie:
It's not right; this damn woman doing something like this to me. I used to have power. Now old age is creeping up on me.

Josey Wales:
More like old habits than old age.

The Apaches once lived on the eastern half of Texas, until they were driven out to the NM wilderness by...COMANCHES.

How the Tribes treated each other BEFORE THE WHITE MAN arrived. (And this is just my short list!)

WASHITA! What you are not taught...

The tribes were NOT on their reservation! St that time the Rez was farther east between the Cimarron and Arkansas rivers and south of the Kansas Line. They got he Washita as a reservation years later, but not in 1868.

The tribes decided to raid the Pawnee and Kaw in Kansas so sent a war party into those areas.

Tribes men still at the Washita then got a distribution of US rifles, pistols and ammo to go Buffalo hunting and left the camp but they did not go buffalo hunting.

They joined up with the first war party and when that party saw they had missed out on the goodies, they began to attack local settlers in Kansas. The second war party joined in in the raids blaming it on the late distribution of the rifles, then lit a shuck back to the Washita camp.

Custer was under orders from Sheridan to find and punish the hostiles when he caught them. His Osage scouts led him straight to Black Kettle’s band who were having a big SCALP DANCE and it was not Kaw and Pawnee scalps they were dancing over.

Custer hit them the next morning and witnessed a white child murdered by one of the Cheyenne women. The Osages were blamed for the killing of the women and children due to the camp fleeing in the direction the Osages were hidden.

In my assessment the raid on the Washita was perfectly legal.
From the Treaty with the Cheyennes..

“With the treaties signed on October 21 and 28, the old idea of a giant continuous Great Plains reservation was abandoned forever and replaced with a new system in which the Plains Tribes were required to relocate to a clearly bounded reservation in Western Oklahoma.
Any tribal member living outside of the reservation would thereafter be in violation of the treaty, and the U.S. would be justified in using whatever means necessary to force them onto the reservation.”
Now look at this old map of the reservations of Oklahoma at that time. See the Cheyenne-Arapaho reservation?
Now find the Washita.
https://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a49/DougLoudenback/maps/1872colton_oklaonly.jpg
Not only were these two tribes well outside the reservation but they had war parties killing settlers in Kansas at that time.
Now you get an idea of why Sheridan ordered Custer to raid the villages.
The Cheyenne did get the Washita as a reservation years later, but not in 1868.
It took me over 40 years to find a copy of this map.

No one knew what caused smallpox. The Indians later caught smallpox when the British left a fort for the French, and the Indians went in and murdered the smallpox patients still in the fort hospital. Then they when into the graveyard and dug up the dead from smallpox, scalped them and took all the cloths they found in the graves.

Not long after a massive smallpox outbreak hit the village.

Wonder why....
