The cities in the various states control the state. The more left the cities go, the more people in the fly-over areas vote with their feet. It is a vicious cycle that can only end one way...a broke state. Then that state will come begging for the rest of the country to bail them out. And Biden’s government would do it.
And then the town supervisors blame the closings on the owners being racists, and nothing ever changes.
