Another "Scratch a Liberal, and a Fascist bleeds". 'There is no lasting 'natural immunity' to COVID. You can get covid over and over and over again bc there are so many endlessly evolving strains and antibodies wane. Also, choosing not to kill off millions of vulnerable people (as the US is doing) isn't a 'critical flaw',' Lorenz wrote

She has no idea what she is talking about. There is "natural immunity" even when the war between pathogens and host is ongoing. The COVID pandemic is the classic textbook example of a new pathogen rapidly burning through the population leaving a high body count in its wake. The war between virus and immunity results is an equilibrium of a much less deadly virus. Even the CDC knows this as their new release of expected COVID deaths for the winter season is around 90,000 which is on par with annual flu deaths. So no "millions" are not going to die from COVID anymore except in China where nobody has natural immunity.

So according to the CDC, 1 MM Americans died “from” COVID. I guess Miss Lorenz will come back in 20 years and claim her “Millions” was accurate.

The COVID pandemic is the classic textbook example of a new pathogen rapidly burning through the population leaving a high body count in its wake.

Where in the news is the high body count left in its wake in this classic textbook example?

Does the lack of a high body count (shades of Vietnam) mean there is no real pandemic?

Two year time frame (about the time length of Spanish influenza pandemic)
6.6 million deaths worldwide - Covid - 2022
50 million deaths worldwide - Spanish influenza - 1918

No high body count after two years.
