European officials are furious with the US administration, accusing Americans of making a fortune from the war while EU countries suffer.
Every time I hear someone say we’re #UnitedForUkraine I laugh.
The only good thing about this war is that the US is making bank on it!
We have nice high LNG export prices to make up for the Russian gas we cut off, and with all of these ‘sanctions’ on Russia, Europe can barely run their factories, and their energy-hogging industries will likely never recover (unless we let Europe fix the gas pipelines that magically blew up, wink-wink, nod-non). And so those industries will be relocating, with some going to China (like BASF), but some coming to the US.
...and that doesn’t even begin to get into the bonanza for US defense contractors! Nice job, President Biden!
