Ukraine HAD a considerable arms industry. Most those factories are now a pile of rubble. Vlad has done well de- industrializing the Ukies, as well de- energizing them. It will take years to rebuild the destroyed factories.
Ukraine is now a welfare queen nation, their billions of debt is unpayable, currency, economy, manufacturing, exports destroyed, infrastructure crippled….
Zelensky’s leadership has destroyed Ukraine.
The Russians seem to have destroyed remarkably little of that. And the critical part is the personnel, not the buildings. You can ship in machine tools into some ex farm building and restore production of something. Or, indeed, just speculating, you can send your guys to Romania and have them make Stugna ATGMs there. Strategic depth is useful.
Intelligent people are resilient.
Hmm. There are hundreds of billions in Russian assets sequestered in Europe, the US and elsewhere. Oh where oh where will Ukraine get the money to rebuild? Oh wait, I spy with my little eye...
