Would the establishment candidate have won? Don’t know. If she attacked MAGA days out and said for all MAGA voters to leave the party, she would have lost too. Maybe she would have lost anyways. We’ll never know. Her sitting on her butt from the primary on sure didn’t help! Having the AG attack Lake a week out didn’t help.
Either we find a candidate acceptable enough for both wings of the GOP in Arizona, preferably combining an attractive personality with conservative values, or we lose Arizona in 2024. Which is why I don’t think Trump can win Arizona. And FWIW, I donated to Blake Masters and voted for the entire Trump slate on the Friday before the election. In person.
