Someone has since moved the meeting earlier, and changed description to certifying the election.
What the AZ GOP needs to do is have a policeman at the meeting room door to prevent Hobbs, the candidate, from entering the room, and detain her if necessary. She has no election duties until the election is over, and she can't be the one to call it over.

As a part year resident of AZ my take is that Lake did not necessarily take establishment R support for granted but neither did she think that they would actively work against her. As sharp as she is on that front she was a little naïve, not unlike Trump.
As long as Ducey has an R after his name he will never benefit from the cheat. At best he is/was a tool for the Ds but will never be considered part of the club.

That is where you are wrong. Look up the definition of “controlled opposition” and there you will find the McCain “Republican” Coalition in Arizona. Ducey has inherited the McCain crown. He has been a gelded, nonexistent, ineffective Governor, yet he expects to ascend to the Senate. He needs friends on the cheating D side to get there, or dare I say, the Uniparty side. Trust me, Mitch wants him, therefore the Cheatin’ Ds want him.

Well, if Ducey was planning to run for Senate, running against doofus Kelly this year was his best opportunity. I don’t see him beating Sinema in the future unless the Democrat leadership is as desperate to get rid of her as McConnell was to stop Blake Masters.
Don’t think I’m wrong here. Would the Dems rather have “controllable” opposition or a D in the seat? The Ds will carry the day.
