I agree with the 40. My carry caliber of choice also.
I feel bad for this lady who apparently is trapped in the Chicago Cess Pool. She did the best she could apparently. She ended up in the hospital, but it beats being in a coffin.
The way you “shlurred” accomplice into “accomplish”, makes me think you may be a bit tipsy - so I won’t slam you for saying defending yourself instead of waiting to maybe be shot is a mistake/”huge risk”.
These bad people travel in Packs....individually they are cowards...when you see 2 or more of the pack animals....move quickly.

Pravda media told you by not telling you.
And have you ever sat in a car, with the windows up, and fired a few rounds at human targets, mobile, if not actually moving, through the car's windows, without hearing, or eye protection?
Me neither. But I understand the experience is not conducive to good target selection, or either rapid, or accurate, shooting.
S&W makes an 8-round 357 revolver! Nice little terminator!
So sit there and don't do anything and likely be raped and murdered anyway. Wonderful leftist logic on not carrying or defending ones self.
As I nurse working the swing shift at the Philadelphia General Hospital, I was out at midnight in one of the worst of Philly’s neighborhoods.
Good catch!
But that would override the FR standard. Don't you realize that scanning thread headlines and watching shows like Mike & Molly, Family Matters, ER or Chicago PD/Fire/Med/Justice/whatever are all that's needed to pontificate about life in Chicago. To comment about life in NYC, the required curriculum would include Friends, Law & Order, Seinfeld, King of Queens and NYPD Blue.
For your city, familiarity with Boy Meets World, It's Always Sunny, Wreck Chasers and Parking Wars is required.
😜
I'm amazed at how many people, even on this forum, recommend getting a revolver. Five or six shots and you're out of the fight, and the fight will be long over before you ever reload, assuming you even have spare ammo. Carrying a revolver as your primary defensive handgun is nothing short of foolhardy. This is applicable both in an urban and a wilderness environment. My normal carry pistol is a Glock 23. That gives me 14 rounds to neutralize any threat before I have to worry about reloading. I also carry two spare magazines and it only takes a second or two to swap out mags. Out in the wilds of Alaska the Glock 20 with Buffalo Bore 220 gr is the go-to defensive firearm for bears and moose. Those who advocate a S&W 500 or Ruger Blackhawk are living in the past. I can do a mag dump with a Glock 20 faster than someone can empty a S&W 500. I'll take the 16 round capacity of a Glock 20 over the five round capacity of the S&W 500 any day.
Oh, so she really wasn’t selling Girl Scout Cookies in the dead of night.
I have a seven shot Smith revolver. Don’t have to worry about jambs. I have 28 guns, 5 semi auto pistols. Carry the Smith in a cross draw shoulder rig (made the rig myself, and I made holsters for several other guns and they are interchangeable) I also reload and go to the range and pick up brass
