As long as he’s white he’ll be charged with a “hate crime”. Maybe he should consider self-identifying as black.
By this logic, drive-by-es in Chicago are hate crimes, because Gang A “hates those f@#$ n@#$s” in Gang B, so shoots them, plus any bystanders who happen to be around, or family members of Gang B, too. It’s not about turf or business disputes, or vendettas or personal matters, but if the victims happen to be black, the perps’ black-ness does not save them from “hate crime” classification. It’s the identity of the victim that makes it a “hate crime”. This grows curiouser and curiouser.
