The man clearly has a million-dollar (or more) lawsuit on his hands.

Will he go after it? I am guessing deep down he is liberal enough to accept the reasoning behind his firing and will take his pension and quietly retire.

I thought about this too. But living in California and knowing how justice works here, I doubt he'd win.

There was a similar case in Orange County (CA) a few years ago - White guy was passed over repeatedly for promotion by lesser qualified blacks, hispanics, etc. Case went to a "jury of his peers" made up of...blacks, hispanics, illegals, etc. They said they didn't see any discrimination at all, none at all, even though it was blatant. He lost his case.
