For three days after the Colorado gay nightclub massacre Democrats and their media allies smeared conservative opponents of drag queen groomer hour as “stochastic terrorists” who are to blame for the tragedy.
Then, to their chagrin on Tuesday, the suspect’s lawyers filed court papers saying he identifies as nonbinary and uses the pronouns “they, them.”
Suddenly their right-wing homophobia narrative collapsed in a heap. Not that it caused them any self-reflection. They will just wait for the next opportunity to weaponize a tragedy. Of course, for all their emoting, they never had any genuine concern for the five Colorado victims, who were just weapons to wield against their most effective opponents on the right.

I have to wonder if that’s a legal ploy to avoid a “Hate crime” conviction, or if he had posted that online in the past somewhere or told people he knew. (not that it changes anything as far as I’m concerned.)
But how many will hear about his screwed up family situation, “abandoned by his drug-addict, porno-actor father”, living with his mother with “borderline personality disorder”?
For three days most hear about supposed right-wing homophobia and the need to grab guns, and then the drive-by media leave and don’t report the true story.
LGBTQ is about screwed up families, abuse and lack of connection/intimacy, resulting in profoundly confused, disoriented individuals who are then used by the oligarchs and powerful as foot soldiers in their quest for political power.
Without alternative online media, we would never know that, like most attacks on the LGBT community, it was conducted by one of their own.
This is how fascism grows...continued blame on one group for all the woes of the nation.

Nope. You can have hate crime enhancers even if you’re part of a “special” group.

Wondered what happened to that story. Last I heard it was an “obvious hate crime”.
Not to worry! The Left already has a work-a-round. Last night’s news already forgot about Colorado. Stories focused on the Idaho slashing and the Virginia massacre. Colorado was already MIA. In fact, Virginia will follow. The killer there is the wrong color.
