You can criticize Joe Biden for a lot of things, but the White House is his residence. The US Government can no more charge him extra for a family member than the Air Force could charge my Dad extra when my cousin visited us at our house on Hill Air Force Base, UT.
The family quarters are the Biden’s home, while President, and he can determine who lives in his home.
However, the Bidens do have to pay for their food, and the food of all family members living with them. The US Government does not pick that up.
Excluding the fact that brandon should be in prison.
I doubt that the President can designate others to live in the Whitehouse. The relationship of an adult daughter does not change my opinion of that. If you have a citation to the US Code or CFR, I’d like to see it.

Nope. It is not his house it belongs to the us citizens. A president stays there in order to do his job.
A visitor can stay on base housing for a certain amount of time. They have to be let on base. Non military cannot just move in and live there. They have to be approved by housing, have a purpose then undergo background check then leave when their time is up
If the base commander were corrupt I suppose he could change the rules just for himself and have his spoiled granddaughter and her creepy boyfriend live with him with no real background check. That’s what Biden did.
And it is bad.
