Colorado’s election recount rules could help determine the extent of Republicans’ slim majority in the lower chamber of Congress by deciding the outcome of Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert’s reelection race against Democrat Adam Frisch.
The thin margin in the sprawling 3rd Congressional District, which covers the state’s largely rural western and southern territory, could trigger a rare automatic recount. The Associated Press declared the race too close to call Thursday night with Boebert up by 551 votes out of nearly 327,000 cast and nearly all votes counted. The AP won’t make a call until after the recount, if there is one.

Q: WHAT WOULD BE THE TIMELINE FOR A RECOUNT?
A: Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold has until the end of the day Dec. 5 to declare whether the vote margin is tight enough to require a mandatory recount. Counties must complete the retabulation by Dec. 13.

Concession is a polite gesture, not of legal consequence.
I absolutely love Lauren Boebert.
Just pointing out the lengths the dirty Dem cheaters in Colorado are willing to go to to get rid of a strong MAGA congresswoman.
They rigged Mesa County hard.
“Yup. I think Gregoire used this trick twice on Rossi. What is sad is the GOP did nothing to fight it. Basically the judge got the final say.”
I remember that. Surprised the Republicans don’t bring that up. I think it was the same two candidates in two separate races, Senator and Gov. Rossi won but lost a recount both time. In one race they recounted three times and the dims won the third recount. Mind blowing. The rinos are total wimps or in on it.
It’s over dude conceded
Right. How many times has a certification count, a recount or other method changed the Dem to the Republican outcome? I have fingers on both hands to count if needed.
Like kids counting: One for you, two for me, one more for you, two more for me.
How will it “work”? Simple!
1. They will find 100,000 previously undiscovered ballots in a ditch.
2. They will find that 99,000 of the ballots found in a ditch were for Adam Frisch.
I don’t think its legally binding.
If the recount goes his way, he will rescind that concession PDQ!
They don’t have the votes or he would publicly ask for a recount as recounts only confirm the original vote count anymore
Hope you’re right!
Very rarely anymore to recounts how she elections to prove my point the Arizona AG race is even closer then this
They can automatically recount all they want in colorado they have a pretty good track record of getting vote tabulations correct the first time even though the state is run by moonbats the last 8 years or so
Of Course AP won’t make the call. The GOP is in the lead. If it were reversed the AP would have called it at 90%.
Spooky.
It's almost like you can read their minds.
This is reassuring.
I did the analysis [comparison of 2020 with 2022], and they went wild in Mesa County [Grand Junction, most likely] with the vote fraud.
They got Tina Peters out of the way in Mesa, so they could pull their BS.
Looks like it wasn't quite enough. :)
They are good at tabulating the fake ballots. Recounting them doesn't change much.
I will celebrate Boebert’s win when the gavel hits the desk to open the legislative session. Not before.
Conceding and concession are not mentioned in Colorado’s state election laws. Concession doesn’t exist. Just like there is no popular vote for president. It’s just a custom, a throwback to when things were run fairly.
Hey, good to “see” you. Our best to your family on Thanksgiving. I think Frisch has signaled they aren’t going to try any more monkey business. They will be content to get away with the monkey business that got them this close.
