The amount and severity of crime that has escalated in recent years is such a sad indictment on our culture, our society. Say what you want, but when the Marxist left was successful in removing God from schools, from the public conscience, and having decided it was okay to give away free stuff and to throw personal responsibility out the window, accepting that certain classes of people are forever victims, we have just marched right down the road to one hellacious reality/future for this country.
My dear 85-year-old mother lives in Florida and of course we talk everyday. She follows the news, current events, she knows what’s going on and it’s like she always says to me,”You’re not safe anywhere anymore.”
Breaks my heart to think of this kind of world our precious grandchildren (ages 16, 13, 7, 5, 3) are having to grow up in.

You are correct. My Philadelphia and NYC in-laws refuse to acknowledge crimes by black yet scream about Trump. Yes, they marched in the pussy hat protests. I asked them if they protested against Biden raping his teenage daughter in the shower. They scream back “You have no evidence that this true. We have a tape of Trump!” The diary? Russian propaganda.
All this happened like two weeks ago. Media really interested in justice.

I have dismissed in-laws for this very thing. When I recently married, my wife and I formed our own family unit. Her kids and mine are grown and have their own families. I will not suffer my remaining years arguing with idiots. It is pointless.
I’ve actually been to that RaceTrak on Oakland Park blvd a number of times. Not a great nearby neighborhood.
They most likely the cops know exactly who did it - and aren’t bothering.
If it’s like Los Angeles, the DA won’t do a thing about it (reference to case of “driver” who plowed into cadets in LA, hasn’t been locked up and is free- should be charged with attempted murder, but the DA says he’s “looking into it” - meaning nothing will ever happen.
I've often said this myself.
I have a neighbor who is still extremely upset over Hillary's loss in 2016, she never fails to bring it up. I limit contact and appreciate that she and her husband watch my home when I travel and they have both been unfailing kind.
It's not worth arguing with people like that - you are not going to change their minds and I figure anyone who is that fanatic about Hillary Clinton is irrational to begin with.
I guess we’ll have to suspend the belief that geofencing doesn’t work at least long enough to find 5 cell phones that were there at the crime scene and left at the same time for a common destination.
