What I think that Disney has yet to realize is that the “woke” people don’t have as many kids (so the Disney toys and games aren’t purchased) or the disposable income to spend at Disney parks.
The “woke” movement seems to primarily consist of very loud young people that are pissed off about their self-created position in the world. In short, “woke is broke”.
Why corporations are caving to it is yet to be determined.

Wow. I just learned of this:

When Roy Disney complained of Michael Eisner’s transformation of Disney into a “soulless conglomerate,” Disney responded by replacing Eisner as Chairman with EPSTEIN BUDDY GEORGE MITCHELL, former Democrat leader of the U.S. Senate (who I also didn’t realize was an Arab).

See comment #5. The Woke at Disney can't see how they are damaging the Disney brand. On top of that, if and when they begin to see the damage they're inflicting, they won't care.

It's a kind of mob mentality. They are like parasites who can't stop what they do even if it kills their host.

The answer is an aversion to lawfare and its attendant bad PR at the hands of the media.
