When did in-person voting, become a problem. Everything BUT in-person is the problem.
In person voting became a problem with voter suppression. Republicans show up on election day, Dems vote early or mail in. Create long slow lines on election day, break the tabulators or printers, stuff uncounted ballots in with counted ones, all this disproportionately impacts the people who show up one election day I.e. Republicans. You think it is an accident, liberals think it is a feature. If this happened in minority precincts the press would be on it like green on a John Deere tractor and DoJ would be swarming the place.
