This GVA standard is a much lower threshold for qualifying incidents as “mass shootings” than has traditionally been used. In fact, it allows incidents in which there were no fatalities to be counted as “mass shootings.”

This stat is legit, but mostly ignored by the media because, if you look at the demographics of the perpetrators of these incidents, they're about 90% black. It's a bit of a narrative monkey wrench.

When you eliminate those in large cities, the number drops dramatically. That’s because most of these shooting are gang related and should be celebrated by law abiding citizens.

Of course, when a white guy shoots, then it is national news.

The feds want to solve the problem of drunk driving by banning the sale and use of tires.
