PHOENIX — A Chandler Republican recently elected to the Arizona House of Representatives says that she will not cast her vote on any bill unless the 2022 election is redone.
Liz Harris, recently elected to represent Legislative District 13 which encompasses much of Chandler, issued the statement on Instagram and her campaign website saying in part "it has become obvious that we need to hold a new election immediately."
Despite winning her own election, Harris alleges that there were "clear signs of foul play" which necessitated her demands. There has been no evidence of this.
"Machine malfunctions" were cited as one such sign. On election day, 60 of the 223 polling places in Maricopa County saw issues with their ballot printers, leading to some ballots not being counted immediately.
The issue was resolved within a few hours, and election officials say that they were able to ensure that every legal ballot was successfully counted.
Harris also questioned the fact that Treasurer Kimberly Yee (R) won her election with a greater count of votes than any other candidate.
"How can a Republican State Treasurer receive more votes than a Republican Gubernatorial or Senate candidate?" Harris asked.
In Arizona, voters are allowed to cast a split ticket. This means that they don't have to vote exclusively along party lines. Yee also received more votes than any Democratic candidate running for office.
It's not the first time that Harris has been involved in trying to overturn the results of an election.
After losing to incumbents Jennifer Pawlik (D) and Jeff Weninger (R) in the 2020 general election, Harris began a "Grassroots Canvass Report" to investigate baseless allegations of voting errors in order to decertify the results of both the state legislature and presidential elections.

In politics, you take your wins as you receive them.
Stop looking that gift horse in the mouth and start measuring your drapes! There is such a thing as being “Too good”.

It will not be an effective tactic.
She needs to be naming specific legislators whose elections were due to fraud.
It does not matter if she lacks proof - or evidence, or even if her accusations are wrong. After all, it is the seriousness of the charges that count, not whether they are true or false. Democrats have already established these rules of the game. She should use the same rules against them.
Let the targeted opposition defend themselves.

They are running scared. They write just like a big, red-skinned guy with horns in a George Soros t-shirt is standing at the back of the newsroom with a whip, telling them to repeat certain phrases incessantly, or else… :)

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised if they are anti/never trumpers either...
Anyway, back to the topic on point - Liz Harris is doing this to force the issue the was election fraud, and the only solution is to run the election again.
She also has some credentials to back up her efforts to reveal election fraud.... like her part in doing a citizens canvass of voters, to verify if they actually exist. Her efforts drew the ire of the DOJ and she had been threatened and labeled an election denier spreading false claims of election fraud, accused of voter intimidation, etc.

She documented and has affidavits that showed voters who voted, but there votes didn't count, phantom voters voting from residences who didn't know the voter, residences receiving ballots with unknown names on them, that show up has having voted, etc.
All of which was ignored from the 2020 election, showing how brnovich, bowers, and others refused to investigate potential fraud and threw the election against Trump.
AMEN!!! Harris is bringing it to the forefront!!
They do not care in the slightest way.
Their whole point is to say absurd things and make other people pretend to believe them. Note that they do not care if we believe them or not. It is the pretense that counts.
All their power is based on coercing others to pretend and go along with whatever is the current thing. The more illogical and wrong their assertions, the better for them to demonstrate their power.
Best to ignore them and refuse to debate or engage.
Perhaps she is creating a leverage point. If more Republican state house members follow her, the Republican leadership will be forced to do something. Right now nothing is being done....just being talked about.
