There should not be mail ins at all.
You are sending them blindly into a corrupt machine, in this case, Maricopa County. They might not even be counted. They might be counted wrong. They might be swapped out. Or, if they are the right vote, they might be counted twice.
Mail in is inherently rife with fraud opportunities.
Agree. But as you say, mail in should be rare. Now it is the rule and mass mail ballots go out like 3rd class mail from Harbor Freight.
The concept of secret ballots is dead in America.
The ballots are real. The voters are fake.
When you have voter rolls that are 180% of the eligible population in a county, you have plenty of margin for cheating your way to victory in the "election". When a single church or a single homeless shelter registers thousands of "new voters" (which actually happened in this State), where do you suppose all those mail-in ballots are delivered?
Things were bad enough when there were only 30 "voters" registered at the same address. We are way beyond that simple trick nowadays.
Of course, there are the old favorites - like harvesting the ballots from dementia patients in a nursing home.
Democrats are way better at identifying loose ballots and harvesting them, than the Republicans will ever be. There are simply too many loose ballots in the system, and this is intentional. Democrats create them.
Mail-in ballots already have an identification code on the outside envelope which is supposed to identify the voter. It is supposed to be checked against a database of registered voters when the ballot is received.
I wonder who audits that system? Oh, right. It's the Democrats who are running the system. Nothing to see here, move on.
I would propose that all voter registrations be voided, and prospective votes must re-register at a government office after showing appropriate personal identification. Registrations should expire after nine years or after three years of not voting. New registrations should not be valid for ballot issue for 30 days after the registration date.
Mail-in voting might actually work without suspicions of fraud under those circumstances. Except the mail system should not be used. Drop boxes, placed in government offices, under continuous surveillance, might work.
My last ballot was placed in a drop box in front of a police station. It was the best I could do since this State has gone to 100% mail-in voting. I am even reasonably sure that the ballot was counted, since I got an e-mail message the next day thanking me for my civic participation. I am uncertain as to how many imaginary people outvoted me.
