One of the many reasons Democrats always win their battles and Republicans always lose theirs can be seen here. Democrats run their party like the mafia, with strict adherence to the party rules, strict omerta, and all who break the rules or the silence getting whacked, sometimes politically, sometimes in reality. Republicans run their party like the country club, where everyone acts as s/he wishes, says whatever s/he wishes, and the goal is to have a good time while going through the motions of running the country.

The Democrat version of Kinzinger would never say in public what he is thinking, and never act against the will of the leadership, knowing he would get whacked if he did. The apolitical majority in the country still don’t get this, which is why Democrats keep getting votes, not only of dead people and illegals, but of live Americans.

You nailed the part of Republicans running it like a country club, and having a good time and “going through the motions” pretending to lead.

Yep, I’ve said for many years that the Dems=thugs while Repubs=Rotary Club.
