To: Alas Babylon!

At a recent neighborhood meeting, I estimated that approx 20% of the self identifying Republicans did not bother to vote. Their reasons were varied, much of it was directed at leadership by McConnell, McCarthy, at Lindsey Graham for bringing up abortion just prior to this election, a feeling of generalized fatigue with all the GOP infighting and some direct anger towards Trump. They said he needs to move on. I asked them if they planned to vote in 24 and they were vague in their response.
The Democrats I talked to ( mainly women)came out to vote because of the fear that abortion would be abolished.

Do you think the continued desecration of the economy and the country will get more Republicans back voting again in 24? Is that conceiveable?
