The Karl Rove strategy of getting just past 271 electoral votes, which is still the prevailing mentality of NeverTrump, is dead, was dead for twenty years really, but it is never coming back. NeverTrump is still convinced that it will.
The Trump strategy of motivating the populace, low frequency voters, and turning a conflict with traditional media outlets into a motivating factor... that is also dead. 2018 was the rollout, 2020 proved it, and finally in 2022 folks started figuring out they were being outmaneuvered. I'm not confident Trump understands this, if he did, he would have pushed the tactics that would have met the challenge and he didn’t.
Zeldin and DeSantis did the work to counter the basement campaigns, so did republicans in California. Trump needs them to win because they are putting in the work to collect votes to be competitive. If Trump isn't the nominee, that nominee still needs the popular motivation of Trump because that part represents the margin of victory.
Both sides need each other this time.
Mail voting and ballot harvesting aren't going anywhere.
Republicans would be wise to start using these tools instead of ceding this tremendous advantage to the Democrats.

Neither are going anywhere. The GOP doesn’t even acknowledge there’s a problem. They rush to the rats side to denounce those that call out the cheating.
For Trump or any Republican to win they would have to figure out a way to use the same weapons and l sure cannot see it.
