I'm going to "reverse gaslight" you. What does that mean?

Well, "gaslighting" is when government bureaucrats, politicians, media, corporations and all the evil people in power lie to you; defraud you; smother you with propaganda; brainwash you; and try to convince you that what you see right in front of you – with your own two eyes – is not true. That the lies they tell you are more important than the raw truth you can see right in front of you.

In my last column about the obviously rigged 2022 midterms, I listed many ways and times I believe you've been gaslighted in just the past few years. It's a stunning list.

I assert that they lied to you about open borders; they lied about Hillary's 30,000 deleted emails; they lied about spying on Trump; they lied about Russian collusion; they lied about a perfectly fine Ukrainian phone call; they lied about massive Biden corruption in Ukraine and China; they lied about the Hunter Biden laptop; they lied about the origins of COVID-19; they lied about the need for lockdowns and masks; they lied about the need for COVID-19 vaccines; they lied about the vaccines being "safe and effective"; they lied and covered up all the deaths and injuries from the vaccine; they lied about the success of miracle drugs hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin; they lied about the stolen 2020 election; and just days ago, they lied again about the clearly rigged and stolen 2022 midterm election.

Thanks for the reminder Wayne. Seems like the entire thing was simply a test to see how little effort would be required to have most of the population line up to get in the box cars. Never forget, the people who paraded other people into boxcars told them the entire time that they were doing so to “help” and “protect” the people being loaded into boxcars. And so the people being loaded into boxcars being trusting souls, were eventually led into large rooms where Zyclon-B was released. I hate the term “gas lighting”. It has recently replaced the word bullshitting and horseshitting, terms which everyone has a working knowledge of the meaning. I honestly think a lot of our slightly less cerebral citizens have no idea what “gas lighting” means. Please try to use the correct terminology around the average voter and everyone else for that matter. It will be better understood and have a much better effect.

Very few creatures who aren’t of that swamp live in that swamp. As you have seen many have masqueraded as being for the people and were given that mantle even though they were nothing of the kind.

Trump was not a swamp creature and unfortunately learned for himself that the swamp creatures have no loyalty, sense of honor, or integrity. They are for sale to the highest bidder for power and money.

I've been whining about that for over a year now. It's completely contrived, inane and utterly non-intuitive! When it first came out, those who used it also felt the need to define the damn word...just as Root does here. I think the idea of draining the swamp is just a dream. There’s no where near enough qualified people outside the swamp that a person like Trump could bring in to run the federal government. Thus the swamp will always remain .

Reagan didn’t drain the swamp and had no interest in doing so but he used it to great effect.
