The only reason that Russia was able to take as much of Ukraine as they did, is that everyone included Ukraine expected Russia would win.
But when Ukraine successfully stopped Russia at the battle of Kiev, they realized that Russia can be defeated.
The whole world sees that now. There is no way Russia could march to Berlin. They can't even advance in Ukraine any more.
And having seen how Russia treats civilians in conflict zones. There is not a country on earth that wouldn't fight Russia with everything they have, rather than let them roll over them.
In two months Russia will have to do another mobilization and another million Russian men will flee their country.
