Welcome to Kalifornia. Several times a year they purposely shut off the electricity to areas of high wind. They state they will eventually bury the transmission lines to avoid fires caused by high winds breaking the live transmission lines. But every year they announce more and more shutdowns. DemocRATS love to control the masses. (last time there was a heatwave they asked people not to charge their EVs. The same EVs they will mandate everyone have).
The amount of work to bury all the lines is staggering.
This without factoring costs, permits, and easements.
