Frustrated by an unending crisis fueled by drug and human trafficking at the southern border, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Tuesday declared his state was under an invasion and invoked special powers granted under the U.S. and Texas constitutions.
Abbott said his declaration would begin efforts to:
Deploy the National Guard to the border to repel illegal immigrants, and the Texas Department of Public Safety to arrest and return illegal entrants to their home countries;
Build a border wall in multiple counties;
Deploy gun boats to secure the border;
Designate Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations;
Enter into a compact with other states to secure the border;
Enter into agreements with foreign powers to enhance border security;
And provide resources for border counties to increase their efforts to respond to the border invasion.

In 2015? He has already implemented most of those actions. Classification of cartels as terrorists will help a lot.
I figured he was waiting until after the election. He had already done most of the actions. Hopefully gthis will make it harder for Mayorkas to intervene.

I suspect the Biden Administration will go after Abbott with everything they have to get this stopped, will it succeed who knows.
But look for not only the Biden Administration but activists and look for riots with violence if it comes to that. The Biden Administration would like nothing better than seeing some migrant getting abused on the Texas Border by the National Guard or Texas DPS, etc.

This didn’t just happen whenever Abbott started his career in government politics. The border has been out of control for many *decades*.
You know that, I know that, do ya think Abbott knew that when he became governor?
If he declares that we have been invaded, doesn’t that mean that anyone coming over the border is an ‘unlawful combatant’, since they are not in discernible uniforms with rank insignia?
In other words, they are candidates for having a bullet forcibly inserted into their brain.
He had to locate his testicles! The RINOS are even worse than the DEMONRATS. We know the left is our adversary but the RINOS are even more despicable.
The tweet was gone for awhile. Some backtracking from the Governor’s people. Chess moves. We put them on notice, pull back a bit to prevent a real invasion (from the CCP puppet) but have signaled other states of intent.
