ANY person in charge of elections should be eligible not run for an office while in that position. It’s utterly ridiculous that she was able to run in the first place. A law is needed that prohibits the person in charge of elections from running for office for five years after leaving that position. As you say, she has way too many “friends” working there to have a fair election.
