A few reasons. (1) This site is actually tolerant of opposing views as long as factual and respectful. It's an open discourse thing. (2) Those leftists who cross the line do get banned. Look for the comments such as this one and the follow up comments.
The local vernacular is Zot or Viking Kitty comments/threads. It happens -- and is frankly entertaining to watch.
PS Jim Robinson, the Founder of this site, and his admins keep an eye on things. So do many of his contributors.
Oh forgot to add (3) Know thy enemy. When they spout off stupidity, they often reveal more than they realize.
