Former Vice President Mike Pence was "angered" by former President Donald Trump's words and actions during the Capitol attack on Jan. 6, 2021.
In an exclusive interview with ABC's "World News Tonight" anchor David Muir, Pence described Trump's words as "reckless" and said they "endangered me and my family and everyone at the Capitol building" during the riot.
"I mean, the president's words were reckless. It was clear he decided to be part of the problem," Pence said.

Yes; I see the machinations of the deep state. No POTUS can micromanage the federal government.
It was not evident to everyone that Pence was part of that, but there were hints, e.g. rewriting Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act when pressured by the homosexual CEO of Apple, Tim Cook.
In reality he was a democrat when he first got into politics.
He had his chance to either cooperate with the Committee and come and testify what he knew, or cooperate with the Department of Justice in their ongoing investigation. It is disingenuous to play both sides, trying to curry favor with Trump, walk a middle line, and get his supporters if Trump implodes, yet not provide any cooperation to ongoing investigations and prosecutorial actions, and then just go write a book and talk about it.
Pence is a lukewarm individual who is probably not loved by anyone on any side these days. I think we have heard enough.
