I don’t think they’ll need to worry about filling that position.

TRUMP needs to be leading rallies and building up the MAGA base. He is the legitimate President. Becoming Speaker of the House would negate that.
Thats the plan, there is no way in hell RNC and leadership did not know this would be a close election...they have more real data than polls...what has RNC head been doing this past two years they are suppose to build up party.
McCarthy must go.....and no, some other RINO is not remotely acceptable.

I’d rather he find ways to build his base without so many rallies. His base are the attendees. It’s the “preaching to the choir” thing. Like Paul and Christ in the New Testament, he needs to go where the “sinners” are.
Do some rallies, but consider the highest and best use of his financial war chest.
He has smart people working for him and it seems that they could come up with some good ideas for broader outreach.
Andy would be a start in the right direction!

I don’t hold much hope for the feckless Rs. I am old enough to remember when it was Roy Blount, John Shaddegg and John Boehner running for the House leadership. The twits chose the least effective candidate as is their wont.
I know. But those hundreds of thousands already support him. Well-produced TV spots would reach more people outside of his sphere.
I love the rallies. Haven’t missed but a couple of them. Continue them but do other things in addition.

Very true. But that is a process that comes when it gets
closer to election time. He doesn’t need to wear people
out at this time.
IMO he needs to keep a lower profile until it nears election
day and then come out in full force for a chosen candidate
of his choice who isn’t named Donald John Trump. jmo
