You just now learning this? I learned it long, long ago. The GOP hold their voting base in far deeper contempt than the Democrats hold theirs.
No, I've know it for a long time. January 6th was the end of it for me. I belong to "no party" now, and if Donald Trump isn't the Presidential Candidate in 2024, I won't be voting. I wasn't going to vote in the midterms, but went out on Election Day here in New York State, and voted straight Republican. A lot of good that did, just like it hasn't done a lot of good the last 54 years I've been voting.
