Data analysts from both parties believe the count will eventually shift in Lake’s favor, but it’s not yet clear whether she will pick up enough votes to overtake Hobbs. Republicans have watched anxiously since Tuesday as Hobbs has defied their expectations and increased her lead each day, including Saturday when combined with results from the rest of the state.

“ The votes Hobbs needs are being created at this very moment.”

They were already created before the election. They are being slow released.

Democrats changed the way we do elections in 2020, giving themselves weeks/months to canvas ghettos, nursing homes, etc squeezing ballots out of extreme low-propensity voters who don’t even know who’s on the ballot. It’s a fundamentally different political decision-making system.

Florida is a *supposedly* purple state where none of this is allowed, and we just saw what happened there. GOP state parties should replicate Florida’s rules everywhere they have power, and do what they can make up the difference in states where they don’t.

——-

Great insight and plan for the future. The Dems have auto wins in CA/ NY/ and now Imbelieve Pa so as you suggest do an analysis of max votes on record and see where you can , if possible offset.

You have an idea of how many from Fla so replicate the process

The essence of 6nsigma. Find the key variable and devise a way to correct or maximize it

The car salesman who runs the Maricopa elections has somehow “arranged” that the most pro-Lake votes will be counted starting tonight, a Sunday evening after the morning talk shows and when most people in AZ are paying attention to the Cardinals.

I don’t remember her saying that ...other people did. I remember her saying she was going to win, but she didn’t know by how much. She “may” have said that, but I didn’t hear it.

Hobbs is the Secretary of State. Arizona has no Lt. Governor. Did Brian Kemp have a conflict of interest as GA SOS when he first ran for Governor? Should he have resigned or recused himself?

Never debate opponent, don’t campaign, don’t do news shows and yet still wins! What could happen that a candidate feels they need to do nothing and will still win? Almost if they were preordained.... 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐

"Curing" ballots sounds like "hanging chads" from 2000.

Look , this is Katie Hobb’s job to run an election and it’s a complete failure. Why isn’t the media questioning her ability to run an election ?

I heard there are 270k votes left; perhaps some of the 400k were contained in the most recent dump, which Lake won by 52-48... if 270k is correct, and Hobbs 35k differential is also, then Lake needs to win them 57-43...52% won’t cut it...

No.

Yesterday's release was from three blue Phoenix precincts. And Lake still over performed in that release.

The average vote day result is about 70% for Lake. Most of the remaining ballots are from that pile.

Probably telling people who voted for John McCain to "Get the hell out!" at a campaign event on Friday before the election wasn't a wise move either.

That's not accurate.

She told "McCain Republicans" to get the hell out. She didn't say "McCain voters".

For example, I once voted for McCain. I'm not a McCain Republican.

With Katie in charge of the counting, this is not shocking at all.

“It’s not who votes that counts; it’s who counts the vote.” — Joseph Stalin

“It Doesn’t Matter Who Votes, It Matters Who Counts The Votes.” — Joseph Biden

Those may not be exact quotes, but truer words were never spoken and they were never as true as they are in this case.

Kari Lake is going to win and Abe is going to be the next Az Atty Gen.

Not so sure about Masters and Finchem. We shall see.

Lake will lead the way for election reform in the next few years.

As one poster noted, bad times are coming.

The Democrats are planning on pointing blame to Republicans.

There will not be much difference for the country if Republicans control the House and Senate or just the House because Biden will veto everything anyway.

The future of the country is going to come down to the States and id=f we don't get control of ballot harvesting we are goners for sure.

She is NOT lieutenant Gov, she is Ariz Secretary of State.

She IS in control of all aspects of voting and ballot counting in the state.

When you consider governor ordered lockdowns and forced vaccinations it is very significant substantive win if Lake pulls it out. I would expect a Bush lover would understand. Lake winning is a matter of life and death.

Very true. Arizona, though, has no lieutenant governor and Hobbs is next in line if anything happens to the current governor.
