For Donald Trump, politics and entertainment are intertwined and often synonymous. His remarkable success at both makes his latest missteps especially puzzling because Trump is committing the cardinal sin of both: He’s become boring.
The ultimate shock jock is now predictable. Wind him up and watch him throw a garbage can full of insults at anyone who won’t kiss the ring. Ho-hum.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin are getting the Trump treatment now. Both are rising Republican stars, so naturally the former president trashes and demeans them. Can’t be competition for top dog.
Long gone is the time when Trump brought fresh blood to the old and tired Republican Party. “Low energy Jeb” brilliantly ended the career of a nominee-in-waiting, and his demolition of Hillary Clinton saved America from a disaster.
Trump’s was a consequential presidency that was far better for America and its global allies than anything produced by his predecessor or his successor. His Operation Warp Speed delivered a COVID-19 vaccine in record time, America was more prosperous and the world was safer and more stable with him in the Oval Office.
Trump achieved those gains despite a corrupt FBI, a conspiratorial Deep State, a rabid media and impeachment-obsessed Dems. He deserved a second term and, had he let his America First policies do the talking, would have had one.
Even after his reckless efforts to overturn the 2020 election and the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, enough goodwill remained that victory in a 2024 primary and the general election remained possible. But Trump’s conduct in his post-presidency has been so erratic that a declining slice of voters hungers for his return.

You’re a never Trumper?
I don’t suppose you care to correct your unreseached anti trump propaganda statement:
“Yesterday, I read a 2 day old article which said Trump endorsed 25 candidates and 17 won, 2 to be decided. So, 2/3 won. Not bad.”
With my finding:
“At this point, 216 GOP candidates that Trump endorsed won their races Tuesday night, with 19 losing to the Democrat candidate.”
19 is 2/3 of 216?
You should go help with the math in California search for the house majority count. We can get this over with earlier and head toward this dictatorship you all want
Are you under the illusion the Trump picked the leader of the RNC?
Spewing Deep State and Rupert's Media Machine is tedious at best.
IOW, The Rupert Media Machine lost a follower! Good-bye Varney!
Which POTUS was as successful as Trump? Look at what Trump accomplished:
Gas price per gallon was about $2.30;
Inflation about 1.4%, mortgage rates were half of what they are now;
Unemployment was low before Covid and before Blue Governors shut everything
down and we were in the midst of a V-shape recovery until January 22, 2021;
Tax decrease; tax laws promoted small businesses as well as large;
US enjoyed energy independence - No Green Agenda, no war on energy, No Paris Treaty;
No war in Ukraine, no threat of nuclear war, NATO paid its way;
China was quiet and we were winning the trade war;
US companies were bringing home the jobs due to well executed tax treatments;
Peace in the Middle East aka Abraham Accords; US Embassy moved to Jerusalem; and Iran was isolated.
Got three non-left “I don't know what a woman is” Supreme Court Justices on the bench allowing Roe vs Wade to be overturned.
Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by Obama's Weaponized Agencies?
I wrote that I read Trump endorsed 25 candidates, 17 won. 17/25 = 68%, pretty close to 66.7% or 2/3. Don’t disparage my mathematical skills. Given your count of 216 Trump endorsed candidates winning, I would like a link to that data, as I was unable to web search that data.
BTW, I found the article that said 17 of 25 Trump endorsed candidates won:
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/heres-how-candidates-endorsed-by-trump-performed-in-the-midterm-elections-11668031281
I said it was from fox. If you cut and paste it it comes up
You didn’t cite your disparaging data
I cut and pasted it to google. Duh.
Trump touts ‘tremendous’ wins for endorsed candidates, says ‘why would anything change?’ on 2024 announcement
You “cut and pasted it to Google”? Google?
It is from fox
Stop talking to me.
You wrote “19 is 2/3 of 216.”
You wrote “19 is 2/3 of 216.”
You erred in your post statement. Happens to to everyone, even when they prefer to attack the one who notices.
No, he hasn't --- for any reason. Stop making up sh*t.
For every voter who is pure MAGA, pro Trump, there are at least two voters who can't stand the man, who will crawl over broken glass to vote against him.
Ah, it's not up to others to dispute your wet dreams, it's up to you to prove them
Have at it.
Post a link so we can assess the source ---- or apologize for spreading lies.
.
LOL, you’re always good for a laugh, RIV, whether it’s here or TOS.
You're right.
He beat the demons twice and was the most successful executive of 20th and 21st centuries. His flaws pale in comparison.
We’re dealing with evil cheaters who will eat alive anyone weaker than Trump.
Bttt
I'm flattered you still follow me --- and happy to know I'm bringing some joy into your sad, little life. -- *Hugs*
