U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Chris Magnus has resigned from his position, the White House says.
President Biden accepted Magnus's resignation letter, according to a Saturday night press release from the White House.
Magnus was told to resign or be fired by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, according to a government source.
Afterward, Magnus emailed senior Customs and Border Protection staff, stating that he's determined to remain on the job.

So does Joe, he’s just trying to imitate his superiors.

Before I retired I had a friend who always set next to me at meetings. Her job was to kick me when my sleeping became obvious.

I heard Mayorkas is going to get the Border Patrol to piggyback his fellow Mexicans across the Rio Grande so their new Nikes won’t get ruined.
GOP senate doesn't have the votes to reject Biden nominees, but even if they tried to reject any of them, Romney and Murkowski (who received big money from McConnell) would jump in.

Magnus was the chief of the Tucson AZ police department prior to his appointment to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency. He was a very corrupt and incompetent police chief. The City Council appointed him because he is a homosexual and he fit their profile. Prior to his job in Tucson, he was a police commissioner somewhere in Texas and was under investigation for corrupt activities there.
In other words, he fits in perfectly with the Biteme Administration.
Like we can believe Politico. I’m sure they were told by the WH to plant the story. He can’t be any worse than Mayorkas.
